I’m Wisdom Udo, a participant of Hashnode Bootcamp ll. In response to the task given by RUTH IKEGAH, where she discussed on a topic “HOW TO OVERCOME WRITER’S BLOCK AS A BEGINNER DEV BLOGGER.”

Before we can dives deep on the subject, let briefly look at an overview of what writing is all about.

So..

“writing in this aspect is related to a medium whereby a developer discuss about a particular topic in written, not solely on code in order to explained the steps used in getting task done on a given project. “

Now in this article, we are going to discuss about “WHAT MOTIVATES ME TO WRITE AS A DEVELOPER.”

  1. To build a good mental picture of a particular problem solved
  2. To share personal experience
  3. To get feedback from people with the similar interests
  4. To keep good documentation & self accountability

TO BUILD A GOOD MENTAL PICTURE OF A PARTICULAR PROBLEM SOLVED

This is a systematical approach used by every developer in order to build a strong knowledge of the immediate solved problem; moreover this action helps every developer to know the flow of the algorithm used in getting the job done.

TO SHARE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

You know many beginners loves to know how others get started with a particular career and, in tech it is not exemption, a lot of person in tech will love to read about a life journey of a senior software developer! Though, I’m not yet a senior software developer par said; at this point, it is a powerful stuff to blog about your experience as a developer.

TO GET FEEDBACK FROM PEOPLE WITH THE SIMILAR INTERESTS

As a developer, feedback is one of the major tools we regard so much, because it give an edge to whatever problem one solved. It is from feedback we get to know the hidden errors and what exactly needed to be change and, also create rooms for improvement and discovery of new concept.

TO KEEP GOOD DOCUMENTATION & SELF ACCOUNTABILITY

As a developer, we used writing to document our progress on different programming languages and this as serve as a reference point to many developers and, whenever one needed help on a particular topic he can easy check out its blog post and get updated. Moreover, it is also used in taken a statistical account of how far you have gone with a particular topic.
